Happy New Year! I'm back...again...

What's up guys? So I know it's been a minute since I have updated my blog. College had me extremely busy there for awhile. But now I am on Winter break. I made 4 A's and 1 C for my first semester at Union. Not bad, eh? I don't start the Spring semester until February 1st. It feels good to breath for a moment before jumping back into the busy college life. I am up tonight, or shall I say morning because I just had a cup of coffee! Bad idea, right? Coffee has been my new best friend since being in college. Oh well, you can never go wrong with coffee. My Christmas was nice. It was only me, my grandmother, and my niece. It felt kind of weird not having my brothers here for Christmas. They both live out of town, California and Texas to be exact. I miss them everyday, we always have good times when we are together. Despite that they were not able to spend the holidays with us, we still had a great Christmas. My niece got a lot of stuff. Clothes, dishes, a toy chest, a play table, chalkboard, bike, and a lot of other things. But there is one present that she seems to really enjoy, and that is her microphone that her Gi-Gi got her. She loves to get on the microphone and sing songs for us, that's when she isn't being shy. I love my niece. She is growing up so fast, which means i am getting old...YIKES! :) Well, yesterday was the first day of 2012!!!! I'm excited to see what opportunities this new year will bring for me and those around me. I definitely plan on becoming closer with God and building my personal relationship with him. I feel 2011 was a good year, let's make 2012 a GREAT year!! I'm about to start my second semester at Union!! Time is rolling by. I'm excited because I am taking my first Education course. I'm anxious to see what we will learn in that class. I love the occupation of being a teacher, and right now I don't see myself doing anything else but teaching. I hope that all of you find whatever it is you're looking for in this new year. Whatever it is, make sure it's something positive and beneficial to your life. Live the life that God would have wanted you to live. Let's all strive to make him a proud Father in 2012! Do not conform to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Start this year off right! Well, I am going to stop this post here. I think my coffee is wearing off! :/ I promise to update more this month while I actually have free time on my hands! Until next time! Peace out! God bless! :)

I'm Back Like I Never Left!

Hey guys! So I know I've been missing from the blog for a while, but I am back now and ready to start providing you all with new posts! So just to update you on a few things, I am now officially moved in at Union University! I moved in August 19th. So I have been here for a little over a month now. I am loving it here at Union. Everyone is so kind, respectful, and sincere. You can definitely feel the Christ-centered community of the school. I think i am going to enjoy my four years here. I have already met and made friends with so many AWESOME people! I am only taking 12 credit hours this semester; however I am still being kept quite busy. My classes are still pretty chill at the moment. I have been doing lots of writing for my Written Comp I class though; but hey I am an English major so what can you expect right? I also have started to attend a church here in Jackson called Love and Truth. I really enjoy going to the service every Sunday and I am happy to be back in church after not attending in so long. I feel like God has led me where I am at right now in my life. I'm here for a reason. I'm at a great place in my life, I have so much going for me. When I first got here at Union I'll admit I was a bit nervous and scared of what life would be like on my own, but I have learned to adjust and deal. I'm learning so much about others and even myself that I feel like I would not have had the opportunity to do so anywhere else. I know there are things in my life that I can not control, but I am loving life right now and putting it in God's hands. Letting go and letting God. I do not want to make this post too long because I know I could go on forever telling about my awesome experiences here at Union so far! I think I will stop right here for now. Until next time guys! :)

First Post!

Hello Guys, This is my first post, but not my first blog though. I've had blogs in the past i've just never had the time to keep them updated! This one will be different though! You have my word. This blog is going to be where I just come to share my thoughts or how i'm feeling each day. So today has been pretty chill for me! I have been spending time with my family all day, our air conditioning is out right now though so i'm trying to survive because we all know how HOT it is outside! We are making it though! My niece is over our house too. She spends the weekend with us EVERY weekend! She is so advanced for her age and spoiled by my grandma so much! From today I have about a month and a week until I move to Jackson and start my college career. I'm getting very anxious and excited! I'm looking forward to going shopping for my apartment. I'm rooming with one of my friends from high school. His name is David. We just met this year, our Senior year of high school. He is a pretty cool dude. On another note, me and my best friend Brandi have hung out all week. We have done so much crazy stuff. I love that girl to death. Switching subjects, I'm SO EXCITED for BB 13!!!!!!! Looking forward to all the twists and the new and the old people who could possibly be returning to the show! I'm rooting for Season 12's Jeff and Jordan! They were my favorite from that season! The show premieres July 7th and you can bet that I will be right in front of my TV with a bowl of popcorn watching all the action play out! Then I will be up until 2 a.m. every night watching BB After Dark! I think I'm really addicted lol. Anyways, I think i'm going to stop this post right here because I could go on for days. Maybe I will have more to blog about tomorrow! Until next time, peace out!
